Includes all the handouts, a quiz for certificate of completion, and an evaluation. CEU’s are available for Ohio Social Workers by sending in and passing the quiz, along with an additional payment of $10.00.

OBJECTIVES:
Understand the reasons for hoarding behaviors
Increase your knowledge of assessment tools used to determine the severity of chronic disorganization or hoarding
Learn the DSM 5 diagnostic criteria for hoarding
Review the criteria for trauma-related disorders, with insight as to whether unresolved trauma is a major contributing factor
Become familiar with assessment scales to diagnose and treat trauma
Participants will finish this training with ways (best practices) to intervene with these complex issues
